QUI, ALTROVE. Omaggio a Ermes Bajoni

A tribute exhibition to Ermes Bajoni, a celebrated artist from Bagnacavallo, former director of the Museo Civico delle Cappuccine, and one of the promoters of the establishment of the Gabinetto delle Stampe antiche e moderne, now recognized nationally and beyond.

The exhibition explores the graphic activity of Bajoni, considered among the most important contemporary Italian engravers. Over the course of his artistic career, he produced about 300 plates, most of which he engraved with his favorite technique of etching, which he felt was particularly suited to express his sensitivity and worldview.

A number of paintings are also on display.

The exhibition is the first event included in the programme of the Biennale_OFF, a calendar of events that, as in the 2022 edition, anticipates and launches the 4th Biennale d’incisione “Giuseppe Maestri”.
