FINE DELL’UTOPIA. Opere di Carlo Polgrossi
The new exhibition at Bagnacavallo’s Museo Civico delle Cappuccine is a tribute to Carlo Polgrossi, an artist and intellectual, among the most significant personalities in the town’s artistic scene of the last 60 years, whose artistic language was born in the 1950s in Paris where he encountered the works of Nicolas de Staël and the artists of the CO.BR.A. group, and then welcomed surrealist elements and finally reached metaphysics and explore the human condition with melancholy and irony.
