Festa dell’8 settembre
From 4th to 8th September 2026
On the occasion of the traditional religious festival dedicated to the Blessed Virgin Mary, patroness of the city of Fusignano, the city center is animated by a rich series of religious initiatives, shows, artistic events and food stands.
The most awaited event is the ancient religious procession on the evening of 8th September, the feast day in honor of the Patroness.
The image of the “Patrona Fusiniani”, painted by the Capuchin friar Acquaviva in 1570 and carried on the shoulders of the faithful through the streets of the town since 1627, is accompanied by the suggestion of religious songs and the many candles that light up the night.
