La Barchessa Farmhouse was born out of the homonymous agricultural estate that has been inhabited by the Filippi family for over sixty years. It is cultivated with orchards, vineyards and vegetables. There are also farm animals that are raised as they were once in the yards of farmhouses.
The old farmhouse has been completely restored and refurbished in tune with the traditional style of rural Romagna houses. Cesare Filippi decided to transform the farm into a modern and welcoming agriturismo with the aim of offering to those who desire it, genuine food based on the Romagna tradition of homemade pasta, grilled meat and vegetables and sweet cakes created by our “arzdore” (women expert in rolling out dough), all watered by the wines of our vineyards.
