The theatre was opened in 1894. It has 400 seats and houses the local theatre season.
The history of this theatre is quite peculiar, since, before being opened as a theatre, it used to be a medical hall hosting cholera disease patients during the 1886 epidemic.
It was then turned into a thetre when the municipality of Conselice decided to have some places for public events and activities, amongst which one for theatre shows.
The former building was partially rebuilt to fit the needs of its new function, in 1910, and when films started to be screened; in 1934 it underwent a completely new design with boxes that are still present.
The present structure dates back to 1935 and consists in a wide hall with side foyer and hall.
