Sagra del Sabadone
From 23th to 27th January 2026
During the 28th edition of the Sagra del Sabadone, St Paul’s sweet, the Pro Loco of Massa Lombarda will set up a food stand where you can taste and buy sabadoni accompanied by other specialities including polenta, stuffed piadina and more.
The feast of St Paul (25th January San Peval di Segn), the patron saint of the locality, is an opportunity to rediscover old gastronomic recipes, especially sabadone, a stuffed biscuit.
The name comes from saba, a distillate of grape must obtained by simmering it until it is transformed into a thick, full-bodied cream. Inside is chestnut flour, mostarda and dried fruit.
There will also be exhibitions, markets and a fun fair.
