Accademia Bizantina Camp

13th Edition of Accademia Bizantina Summer Campus

The Accademia Bizantina Camp is open to all young people currently pursuing musical studies, and this year it is divided into:
Opera Lab (ages 8–16)
Concerto Grosso (ages 17–20)

The Academy offers days full of educational activities, including instrument lessons, chamber music, drama class and movement and socialization workshops.
In a protected and stimulating space, with a specialized and passionate body of teachers and educators and many peers motivated by the same spirit, the Camp will be a summer experience that will sow seeds in each participant’s educational journey. A true summer full-immersion of music and theater for youngsters.

There are three weekly sessions scheduled for 2026.
The first two sessions will be dedicated to Opera Lab: June 21–28 and July 3–10 (the second session has already reached its maximum capacity)
The third session will be dedicated to Concerto Grosso: July 12–18

Special evening in collaboration with the Cinemovel Foundation and Cineteca Bologna
Participants in the Concerto Grosso program will provide live musical accompaniment for a selection of early short films, creating a dialogue between images and music that will also serve as a preview of “Immaginario – Cinema e Comunità,” the film festival scheduled from 23rd July 23 to 1st August in the municipalities of Bassa Romagna.
