From 6th May to 24th September 2023
COME UN’ONDA, COME UN VOLO [1923-2023] 100 cavalli per Francesco Baracca
An exhibition that intertwines history, art and myth starting from two centenarians connected to the figure of the Lughese aviator Francesco Baracca: the foundation of the Air Force and Enzo Ferrari’s first car victory at the Savio circuit in Ravenna, both from 1923.
Starting from the symbol and insignia of the Ace of Heavens, the famous Prancing Horse, the exhibition reveals its origins and developments by drawing a map that places this image at the centre, placing it side by side with a constellation made up of many representations of the horse according to contemporary visual arts.
