The exhibition explores the works of five artists from Romagna who, although coming from different backgrounds, shared a creative energy directed against the system and conventions of their time. The protagonists, including Gio Urbinati, Vittorio D’Augusta, Claudio Montini, Piero Dosi and Danilo Melandri, embodied irregularity, loneliness and rebellion, manifesting an artistic vision that challenged the social and political order of the 1970s and 1980s. Their works, characterised by a strongly individualistic language and innovative techniques, reflected dissent towards a world that seemed imprisoned in superficiality and consumerism.
