The Church, built in just over a year and a half from the laying of the first stone on 9 December 1715 by Don Marcantonio Faggioli parish priest of San Bernardino, was consecrated on 20 June 1717 by Mons.Camillo Spreti, Bishop of Cervia, and dedicated to St. Joseph.
