The museum of Villanova (Ecomuseo delle Erbe Palustri) has been active into the field of ethnographic research for more than thirty years, and is now opening the “Etnoparco delle capanne“, an open air museum display in the garden of the former school of Villanova.
The display exhibits the typical huts that, in the past, used to be very popular in the landscape of the area.
The huts of the museum include all the main types of traditional huts (for boats, animals, tools and domestic purposes) and they have been built according to the original building techniques and with the original materials.
