Two weekends dedicated to traditional craftsmanship, at the Ecomuseo delle Erbe Palustri.
The courses are aimed at adults who, under the guidance of expert masters, will know the characteristics and methods of preparing raw materials and will learn the basic weaving techniques to create an article.

26th and 27th April 2025

• Marsh grass weaving course

            Maestro: Luigi Barangani

31st May and 1st June 2025

• Willow basket making course

            n° max: 10 people 
            Materials: willow and common reed

• Chair making course

            n° max: 6 people 
            Materials: sedge

Useful information

During the courses, information will be provided on the raw material and its procurement.
We will visit the sections relating to the various production cycles to admire the original artefacts from the museum collection.
The educational and convivial meeting also includes a pleasant shared lunch in the museum tavern.
Course times: 9.30 am – 12.30 pm | 2.00pm – 5.00pm
Cost: €95 per course per person, including lunch
The cost of each individual course per person includes material and lunches.
