The mill belonged to the Duke Francesco Pico della Mirandola and was erected at the end of the XV century; it lies along Imola mills canal, the ancient canal leading to the river Po of Primaro.
The original part of the mill has two floors; in the ’50s the mill was widened with two new buildings, one with four floors and one with two.
The original building lies over the canal, it has two arches and bare bricks walls that show changes over the past centuries.
There is a portico with four pillars that lies over the canal with an arch; it is just next to the northern facade of the original building.
The ’50s building still houses the old engines..
