I SUGAL (sugali)

I Sugal are a typical autumn dessert of peasant origin that is prepared and eaten by tradition on the grape harvest days as a dessert after lunch and dinner, or as a tasty afternoon sweet snack.

Filtered grape must, dry bread crumbs, yellow maize flour, grated lemon rind, anise seeds.

After having made the must boil for some hours, add the flour and the other ingredients. When the compound reaches a compact consistency, pour it in moulds or in dishes, let it cool down and keep in the fridge.
