Teodoro Zeccoli was born in Lugo in 1929 and he died in Imola in 2918, his life is closely connected to Alfa Romeo cars. He has been a professional pilot and test driver.
Zeccoli’s life long love for cars started early, when he drove Fiat, OSCA and Lancia. He was offered his first professional contract in 1960 by Karl Abarth in Turin; this role allowed him to develop substantially as a pilot and a test driver.
From 1963 to 1981 he has tested Alfa Romeo racing cars on the race track of Balocco. Zeccoli has given enormous contributions to the development of some race cars, such as TZ, TZ2 and Tipo 33, whose debut coincided with a very serious accident which he luckily survived.
Zeccoli has contributed to several victories of sports cars and has also won prizes as a driver.
