A cycle route from Comacchio to San Giovanni Marignano

Via Romagna is a cycle route that crosses Romagna from north to south, from the Comacchio Valleys to San Giovanni Marignano. The 462-kilometer route with an elevation gain of 6,500 m develops in the hinterland of Romagna, passing through natural parks, ancient villages and territories rich in history and food and wine traditions.
You ride on secondary roads and pleasant dirt roads, so the route is suitable for everyone and any bike. Where to start the adventure and which stops to make is up to you.
Via Romagna leads to the discovery of 30 municipalities, 20 ancient villages, including the municipality of Massa Lombarda in the territory of Bassa Romagna: the itinerary is aimed at experiencing the territory in all its excellences, pedaling on a safe and cyclist-friendly route (all major points of interest and fountains are marked on the map).
What’s left to do is to ride up and set off to discover Romagna’s treasures, whether it’s art cities like Ravenna, natural parks like the Casentino Forests, ancient villages like San Leo or a great dish of cappellacci alla zucca in Ferrara.
